The men’s basketball team closed out the season against the Division leading N.A.I.T. Ooks. On the road for the first game they lost 85-107. Senior Mike McCorquindale lead the team with 22 points while David Ness, Joe Knight, and Shayn Bruney added 17, 11, and 10 points respectively. The following night, the Vikings finished the season at home with a decent effort in a 97-113 loss. David Ness had a great night in route to a 22 point effort while McCorquindale, Bruney, Knight and Kevin Barnes managed double digits in points. While the team is disappointed with missing the playoffs, they showed marked improvement over last year by being competitive far more consistently. They hope to continue their improvement next year and translate it into making the playoffs.
