Your Augustana Vikings Men’s Volleyball team came from behind to finish in 1st place at their annual Fall Pre-Season Tournament.

Your Augustana Vikings Men’s Volleyball team showed their resilience as a team and their ability to battle back as, they came from behind to finish in 1st place at their annual Fall Pre-Season Tournament.
The Vikings went 3-1 in the round robin losing only to Kings University in the final and deciding set.
Moving into Saturday’s playoff round the Vikings got off to a slow start in both matches, going down 0-1, but battling back to a triumphant 3-1 victories over Concordia in the semifinal and the Olds College Broncos in the gold medal match
Andrew Kaliel led the Vikings with a strong performances all weekend. IN the three matches he played he averaged 2 aces, 1 block, 6.3 digs, and led the team with 13.5 kills per game. Andrew Kaliel became the first Athlete of the Week for the Vikings in the 2012-2013 Season for his performance. He will be nominated for ACAC Athlete of the Week for his strong performance in front of a an excited crowd that helped raise nearly $300 for the Boys and Girls Club of Camrose.
