Mannskor and special guests are delighted to present a classic assortment of music and poetry that has stood the test of time, from J.S. Bach, Benjamin Britten, barbershop, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, to the Rolling Stones.

Formed in 2006, Mannskor: Augustana’s Men’s Choir encourages men from the Augustana Campus and the Camrose community to explore the joy and comradery of choral singing. Through diverse repertoire drawn from the bountiful male choral tradition, choristers from Mannskor are led to improve vocal technique and choral musicianship skills. Mannskor serves to build strong relationships between Augustana students, staff, faculty, and members of the University and Camrose communities.

Mannskor: Augustana’s Men’s Choir, Dr. Ardelle Ries, director, and Elizabeth Clarke, piano, along with special guests Jonathan Mohr, string bass, Bryan Boulanger, percussion, Chad Charbonneau, electric, bass, and Drs. Alexander Carpenter, Jerome Melancon, and Jeremy Sylvestre of Quarantino warmly invite you to explore Augustana’s 2013 theme of Resilience (and St. Patrick’s Day!) on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 7:30 pm in the Faith and Life Chapel at Augustana.

Tickets are $18 for adults, $14 for students and seniors and $45 for a family. Tickets are only available at the door. For further information, call the Augustana Music Office, ph 780-679-1532.
