ACSRC & Open Door Release Report on Youth Homelessness in the Camrose Community Posted on August 16, 2013

The Camrose Open Door and the Alberta Centre for Sustainable Rural Communities (ACSRC) released a report on the recent Open Door Needs Assessment. The intention of this needs assessment was to establish the type, reach and potential opportunities and challenges facing rural youth homeless in the Camrose region. Youths aged 16 to 24 who are unable to live with parents or guardians are increasingly vulnerable to homelessness due to a lack of affordable housing.
