Free lecture/recital. Music consists of cabaret songs from fin-de-siecle Berlin. Lecture is on the anomalous nature of these songs.

The music part consists of cabaret songs from fin-de-siecle Berlin; the subject of the accompanying lecture is the anomalous nature of these songs, which occupy the hazy, twilight realm between serious art music and popular music. These fun and seldom-performed songs are by turns silly, coy, and downright dirty.  All are welcome.  The program will run about one hour.

Presented by: Kathleen Corcoran, Roger Admiral, and Alex Carpenter.

Hope to see you there!
