On Thursday, the Vikings travelled to Lacombe for a set of matches against the CUC Aurora.

On Thursday, the Vikings traveled to Lacombe for a set of matches against the CUC Aurora. The women’s game was a bit of a mismatch, as the Vikings dominated from the first point. The Vikings took the match 3 – 0, with scores of 25-17, 25-18, and 25-9. Next up on Friday was the long trip to Lac La Biche for a match against the Portage Voyageurs. The results seemed the same as the night before, as the Vikings once again swept the match 3 – 0. The scores were 25-15, 25-11, and 25-12. First year player Christie Comeau earned player of the game with six kills, one dig, and 92 percent serving. The Vikings sit in first place with a perfect 8 – 0 record. They will host the St. Mary’s Lightning and Rocky Mountain College Rams on Saturday.
