On Saturday, the Vikings travelled down to Calgary to compete against the Olds Broncos and St. Mary’s Lightning.  Both matches were very likely playoff matchups. The first game of the day pitted the Vikings against the Broncos and the Vikings took control early and often. The Broncos were simply over-matched and lost with scores of 25-15, 25-8, and 25-21.  Last up for the Vikings was a rematch of last weekend’s battle against the Lightning. Once again, the Vikings used some strong team play to extinguish the Lightning in three with scores of 25-12, 25-23, and 25-15.  This victory tallied the Vikings’ record to 12-0. The team will round  out the season  at home this week as they host the Taylor Fire on Thursday and the Portage Voyageurs on Friday.
