Nhial Tiitmamer, who was born and raised in war torn Sudan. Nhial became one of the millions of Sudanese refugees who left Sudan during the 1983-2005 civil war, which claimed 2.5 million lives. He lived in Kenya as a refugee for six years before coming to Canada in 2005. Nhial will aim to enlighten the audience about the painful experiences refugees pass through within the theme of shelter and safety, some of the basic things of which a refugee is deprived.
