Standardization of how calls are made from and to campus.

SUBJECT: Telephone Changes

When:  1st of December, 2009

After carefully reviewing the costs of our current long distance setup between Edmonton and Augustana, we have identified a potential monthly savings through a minor change in how long distance is provided. As of the 1st of December, 2009 we are standardizing how calls are made on this campus by removing the ability to Dial 8 before an Edmonton number. You will still be able to dial Edmonton numbers just as you would any other long distance number by dialing 9 1 and the 10 digit number. For example, to call the AICT Switchboard you would dial 917804923111.

Additionally the published inbound local Edmonton number 7804492777 will be deactivated on the 1st of December 2009
