Stephanie EctorVikings Women’s Volleyball is pleased to announce the addition of Stephanie Ector for the 2010-2011 ACAC volleyball season.

Stephanie grew up in Elbow Saskatchewan, attends Loreburn Central School and is coached by Lance Morrison. In 2009 Stephanie was named team captain and led Loreburn to the 1A Provincial Championship title. This past club volleyball season, Stephanie made a move to Saskatoon to play for Eric Marchildon and JCVC Extreme where she has helped to lead the club to a number of top three finishes.

As a 6’0” outside hitter Stephanie had opportunities to join a number of Canadian and U.S. institutions, but chose Augustana because of the small campus and class sizes. While at Augustana Stephanie will pursue a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Chemistry.

“I’m really looking forward to attending Augustana, and the opportunity of being a member of the Viking Women’s volleyball team,” said Stephanie.

Head Coach Stephen Leggitt stated, “I look forward to having Stephanie join our program. She has the size and ability to become an outstanding ACAC volleyball player.”
