Saturday, March 26
Celebration starts at 7:30pm
Augustana Quad

Earth Hour, a global movement and call for action on Climate Change, will take place this year on Saturday, March 26 from 8:30-9:30pm.  Earth Hour is a time to recognize how our actions affect our planet. It is a time to CHOOSE to become more mindful of our energy consumption, not just for this one hour, but in our daily lives.  An Earth Hour celebration is a way to come together and celebrate community, while rejoicing in the fact that people can do amazing things when they come together to tackle issues of all sorts, be they environmental, social, economic, etc.

If you are unable to join us, consider celebrating in your own way by shutting off all your lights and non-essential appliances, such as TVs, computers, and microwaves, from 8:30-9:30 on Saturday, March 26.
