What’s Cookin’? Soup Supper & Chaplaincy Reunion
Posted on July 13, 2010 by Tia Lalani
On Saturday, March 5, there will be a soup supper and Chaplaincy Reunion for all former members.
What’s Cookin’? is Chaplaincy’s annual fundraising soup supper and silent auction.
Pastor Lyle McKenzie, former Augustana Chaplain and initiator of the Student Chaplain program, will be our guest speaker. We will celebrate Chaplaincy at Augustana and in particular, 17 years of Campus Ministry Coordinators and Student Chaplains, a leadership position involving students in worship planning, service, community, peer ministry and programming. We will close the evening with Holden Evening Prayer.
You are invited to a Chaplaincy Reunion
All former Student Chaplains/Campus Ministry Coordinators, Chaplains, Assistants for Chaplaincy, Chapel musicians and any others who were involved in Chaplaincy are invited to the Chaplaincy Reunion on Saturday, March 5th and Sunday, March 6th, 2011. Registration will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Faith and Life Lounge followed by brunch in the cafeteria at 11:30 a.m. There will be planned activities throughout the day and "unscheduled time" for visiting. In the evening we will attend the What’s Cookin’? soup supper (see above). On Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. we will worship together and send you on your way after brunch.
If you have any questions or are interested in attending the Chaplaincy reunion, please contact Robyn Simpson Mohr at 780.679.1536.
