Distinguished alumnus Duncan Wambugu conducts the Augustana Choir and Sangkor in and evening of African singing.

Celebrate Augustana’s Centenary with distinguished Augustana alumnus Duncan Miano Wambugu, the Augustana Choir, and Sangkor in an evening of African singing.

Sing Africa is a workshop/performance for the entire community during which Duncan will teach African choruses and songs and share the customs and stories that accompany them. Throughout the evening Duncan will also give solo performances of traditional African songs and, under his direction, the Augustana Choir and Sangkor will perform a variety of African choral music.

Camrose percussionist and Augustana alumna Tova Olson will lead the drumming troupe. This event is an unofficial reunion for Augustana and CLC music alumni!
