This morning, 20 February 2011, TLS was alerted to several service outages, including the Augustana Website and Webmail.
Update: Services have been restored as of approx. 12:00.
TLS staff began to investigate immediately and have determined that a storage device supporting many TLS services was taken offline by a software failure. This device is fully redundant, and as a result of this unexpected behaviour, a service ticket has been opened with the vendor to determine the cause of the failure.
A full incident report will be posted as soon as it is available.
