Fifth/Spare: Jessica Marchand

The Mixed Team after round robin placed first, beating the undefeated Nait (1st) team as well as Grant Macewan (2nd) and Red Deer teams (4th).

After giving up a steal of 1 for the first 4 ends, the mixed team would pull through with a single point in the 5th end. Playing the 6th end, 3 points down without last rock, Augustana would steal 2 more points. Nait would be forced to take 1 point in the 7th end and Augustana would manage to score 2 points in the 8th end to tie the game, and force the Gold Medal game into an extra end. Augustana battled hard with Chad Szott and Kylie McLean sweeping their hearts out, to steal 1 point and the Gold Medal!
