An awareness campaign promoting the discontinuation of bottled water usage and sales within campus and the broader social picture.

Hopefully you’ve seen posters for the Earthwise event on Thursday. Take Back the Tap is an awareness campaign promoting the discontinuation of bottled water usage and sales within campus and the broader social picture. The re-usable water bottles we will be selling are second hand and have been sanitized, but we’re calling for more donations of the sort as the proceeds will be going towards tsunami relief efforts in Japan. This fundraising is also a conjunction with
Augustana’s Asian club.

For now we’re hoping to have a donation box near the Cafe, there will be posters guiding you to the box where you can drop them off. Any re-usable bottles donated are hugely appreciated, for small change can make a big difference. We will be accepting them right up until the date, and further for a possible follow up event.

Thank you for your consideration, and we sincerely respect your co-operation. Hope to see you all there!
