Abstract: Panelists will bring their own experiences of teaching gender and gendered teaching to the seminar in order to explore the varied relationships between gender and teaching.
Questions and issues to be explored by the panel and audience may include: How does gender influence teaching? How can issues of gender best be introduced into the classroom? Does gender matter in my discipline? Is my discipline gendered? How does gender interact with student ideas of ‘the professor’?
