Dr William (Bill) Shotyk, Professor and Director of the Institute of Earth Sciences, University of Heidelberg, Germany, is the speaker for the 9th Bentley Lecture in Sustainable Agriculture. The title of Dr Shotyk’s talk is, “Soil and Water Health: Our Key to Survival.” As of October 2011 Dr Shotyk will be joining the University of Alberta as the Bocock Chair in Agriculture and Environment.
