Sangkor, the women’s choir at the Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta, is pleased to present its spring concert, “Connections,” with special guest Blue Thistle. The concert will take place on Sunday, March 25th at 7:30 pm in the Faith & Life Chapel on Augustana Campus.

It has become Sangkor’s tradition to share the stage with another ensemble at its spring concert. Through shared concerts of this nature, members of both ensembles learn a great deal from one another while presenting a rich and varied concert opportunity for the public. This year Sangkor is thrilled to be performing with Camrose’s exceptional treble quartet, Blue Thistle. As a result of this “connection,” two new arrangements have been made for the concert which Sangkor and Blue Thistle will perform together. In addition to other shared pieces, the concert includes a wide variety of music including gospel tunes, folksongs, and art song.

Tickets for the concert are available from all Sangkor members and at the door: $16 (adults); $12 (students/seniors); $40 (family). R.A.R.E. For further information, please call 780-679-1532.
