When: Wednesday, 18th July 2012, 05:30 to 07:00 (5:30AM to 7:00AM)

On July 18th Technology and Learning Services staff will be performing hardware upgrades that require an outage of campus file servers, as well as some campus services. During this upgrade, campus users will be able to log in to campus workstations, but will not have access to their N: drive, or any other network volumes, such as shared drives. The following services will also be unavailable for periods up to 15 minutes within the planned upgrade time:

Augustana website and myweb (web applications)
Campus printing
Computing Science lab
Groupwise

Please save all your files/work prior to the upgrade. TLS recommends shutting down your PC at the end of the work day on Tuesday, 17th July.

Logged in users may receive a disconnection notice on their workstation as the outage begins. If you receive this notice, please reboot your computer after the outage is complete to restore access to your network drives.

Please contact the TLS department if you have any questions related to this notice.
