Augustanamlet’s soliloquy: An Ode to a Newsletter

To read, or not to read: that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to ignore
The feeble attempts at outrageous humour,
Or to take a chance on a sea of words,
And by reading enjoy them? To click: to dodge;
No more; and by a click to say we end
The ignorance and try the thousand Augustana events
This campus is heir to, ’tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish’d. To click, to read;
To read: perchance to attend: ay, there’s the rub;
For in that click of newsletter what events may come
When we have shuffled off the workday coil,
Must give us pause: there’s the respect
That makes calamity of not knowing what is going on around here.

Find out by clicking here to read the newsletter!

(If that link didn’t work, could you try this one – then email Christopher Thrall and tell him how you fared?)
