Can you imagine life as a transgendered person? Or how about living with memories of childhood sexual abuse, alcoholism or physical and cognitive challenges? These were just a few of the topics available in recent augustana human libraries.

The 8th edition of the augustana human library will take place September 17 and 18, 2012. Please visit the human library webpage to discover the wealth of subjects and schedule your reads of choice.

A Human Library is an initiative in which people called ‘Readers’ who want to learn about a specific topic ‘check out’ people called ‘Human Books’ for an hour of conversation.
