1stAnnual Staff vs. Student Benefit Road Hockey Game.

While we have had a hockey challenge near the Auxiliary Building for a number of years, this year we are making it bigger!

Where: Edgeworth Centre parking lot (under the lights)
When: Tuesday, December 4th, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.

The City of Camrose is bringing in bleachers for the game and Mayor Chalmers will be dropping the opening ball. The game will consist of 2 – 25 minute straight time periods with a half time show featuring a live auction. Local musicians will be performing throughout the night and the Augustana Choir will be singing O Canada. Residence Life has graciously donated a bus to take students back and forth from dorms and the student Chaplains will be serving hot chocolate free of charge.

To that end, we are looking for 20 staff and 20 students who will pay $20 each to play. All this money will be donated to a community member; Dave Borman of Hockey Plus who was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. His contributions to Viking Athletics and Camrose Minor Hockey make him an excellent recipient.

So please sign up in the ASA Office to play in the game! The deadline to register is November 28th. If you are unable to play, please bring your families and friends to this support game!
