Red Deer Bottling Small Business Award

RDC is pleased to offer a unique opportunity for small businesses in the central Alberta region. Through the Red Deer Bottling Small Business Award, the selected applicant will be awarded a scholarship providing $5000.00 in tuition credits for employee training in any credit or non-credit program in the Donald School of Business. Your training can be customized or you can choose from ¬†one of the hundreds of existing courses to meet your company’s training needs. Our team of corporate training experts can arrange for training to take place at your business, online or in at the J.B. Quinn Centre for Corporate Training.
Eligible interested businesses must operate within Central Alberta (north of Airdrie and south of Leduc, between the east and west provincial borders) and have fewer than 25 employees. An application form together with a maximum 500 word narrative describing how the business stands out in its pursuit of innovation, excellence and entrepreneurship together with two letters of support must be submitted electronically to RDC before February 14, 2013.

A selection committee will review application and consider the following characteristics:

* Innovation in marketing, product development or business process

* Excellence in customer service

* Growth in staff and/or facility size

* Evidence of community leadership, awards or any other special aspect of the business
