The Canadian Community of Practice in Ecosystem Approaches to Health is pleased to announce the Call for Applications for the 2013 Ecohealth Short Course to be hosted by the University of Northern British Columbia, Prince George, BC from June 20-June 30.

The Canadian Community of Practice in Ecosystem Approaches to Health is pleased to announce the Call for Applications for the 2013 Ecohealth Short Course to be hosted by the University of Northern British Columbia, Prince George, BC from June 20-June 30.

The short-course will comprise two parts:

1. Ecosystem Approaches to Health Workshop (June 20-23) with ~25 participants, and a teaching team involving members of CoPEH-Canada from across Canada; The workshop is open to professionals, practitioners and graduate students.

2. Ecosystem Approaches to Health Field-school (June 20-30, including the workshop) with a maximum of fifteen participants who will complete the requirements of 3 credit graduate level field-school, taught by UNBC and CoPEH-Canada team members. Final assignments will be completed in July.

Deadline for applications to participate in the workshop and field-school: April 12, 2013.

Graduate Training Awards: Graduate students wishing to participate in the full 11-day field-school may apply to receive one of five (5) $1000 awards to help cover the costs to participate in the full 11 day Ecosystem Approaches to Health Short Course. Applications for training awards are also accepted until April 12, 2013.
