Undergraduate students (including students receiving a student loan or scholarship) must submit a nonrefundable Confirmation Deposit of $175 to confirm their intention to attend before August 15.

If you fail to pay the required confirmation deposit by the deadline outlined in the Registration Dates and Deadlines, the Registrar will delete all courses from your registration and we will send an e-mail notification to your U of A e-mail account. If you wish to reregister you must contact the Office of the Registrar so that your record can be reactivated. Once this is done, you must reregister in courses yourself.

The Confirmation Deposit will count toward your fees. It does not increase the total amount of fees which you are assessed. See the U of A Calendar for more information about Confirmation of Registration.
