2 October Goa and MelanconMany people in the Augustana and Camrose community are curious about the Charter of Values that the Quebec government will soon be bringing to the National Assembly, which is currently creating quite a bit of debate both in French and English Canada.

The Chester Ronning Centre’s David Goa and Political Studies/Philosophy professor Jérôme Melançon invite you to a conversation. David and Jérôme will each speak briefly on the themes of “Democracy, Equality, and Laïcité” to present the roots of the issue and the current debate, following which we will lead a discussion where some questions can be clarified and where some debate might happen.

Everyone is welcome! The event will take place in the Roger Epp boardroom this Wednesday, October 2 from 12:30 until 1:45pm.
