Sustainability Awareness Week

The University of Alberta celebrates sustainability with its sixth annual Sustainability Awareness Week (SAW), running October 21 to 25, 2013. Hosted by the Office of Sustainability in partnership with more than 50 on and off campus organizations, the week is comprised of 54 sustainability-related events, tours and speakers running across multiple university campuses.

The week’s activities are designed to help the university community, alumni and members of the general public learn more about sustainability, engage in interesting experiences and explore sustainability-related issues that are relevant. Plus, SAW is a great opportunity to discover what sustainability-related initiatives are happening on campus and how everyone can make a difference.
