Mr. Gnandt will present a public lecture entitled “Understanding Chopin Style – A comprehensive pianistic journey through the many facets that comprise the piano music of Chopin.”

Canadian pianist Edwin Gnandt is a soloist, accompanist, adjudicator, and workshop clinician who has performed throughout Canada and the USA, as well as in Russia and Scotland.  He has studied at a number of prestigious institutions, including the University of Washington, University of Edinburgh in Scotland, and the Juilliard School of Music in New York City.  His book “The Soul of the Music: Gifts from the Golden Age of Piano” (2013) has been recently published and received with great enthusiasm.

He is on faculty at Ambrose University College in Calgary.

There is no admission charged.  The public is welcome.  R.A.R.E.
