On Saturday, December 14, we will celebrate one of the great names in Camrose and Augustana history.

Ronning BookDecember 13 marks the 119th anniversary of Chester Ronning’s birth. Born in China, this former president of the Camrose Lutheran College had an amazing life, which is documented in Brian Evans’ new book The Remarkable Chester Ronning: Proud Son of China.

Please join Brian Evans for an afternoon of celebration, conversation and a reception to recognize the publication of this new work on the life of a man who had such an impact on Augustana – and around the world.

  • “The Remarkable Chester Ronning”–Brian Evans discussing his recently published biography of one of Camrose’s most famous citizens (and Augustana’s most distinguished leaders)
