Welcome to our new students in January!

Find out about Welcome to U!, the first two weeks of school at Augustana.

We anticipate your arrival on campus in Camrose on Monday, January 6, 2014 to complete registration and to begin classes. If for any reason you are unable to arrive on this date, please contact the Augustana Prospective Student Office as soon as possible to make alternate arrangements.

If you have not received official acceptance or if you have not yet reserved a selection of courses, you should contact the Augustana Prospective Student Office before coming to campus.

Registration begins at 9:00 AM. Please report to the Registrar’s Office on the upper level of the Forum room 2-073 at your earliest convenience to complete your registration. You may attend classes before going through registration if you have classes early in the morning.

At 12:30 PM on Monday, there will be a Dean’s Welcome reception for all new students in the Roger Epp Conference room 2-004 in the Forum (2nd level).

IMG_7778bTo finalize your registration, you must complete the following steps in sequence:

1. Arrival notification – Registrar’s Office on upper level of Forum Building 2-073
2 Review of documents (if required) – Prospective Student Office in C-115 Classroom Building
3. Finance Office – upper level Forum Building (Cashier’s office 2-098)
Payment of fees or arrangements to make payment of fees:
Please bring your method of payment if you are planning to make Tuition or Residence payments. To pay tuition fees you may use cash, cheque or Interac. To pay for residence you may use cash, cheque, Interac, Visa, American Express or MasterCard. Alternately, you may pay for Tuition and Residence online.
4. Student Services – upper level Faith and Life Centre 2-336:
* Parking permits available
5. Students’ Association – lower level Forum Building L1-010
6. Technology and Learning Services – lower level of Forum Building L1-080
* Computer user ID number issued
* Photo taken and student ID card issued (ONEcard)

Academic Orientation for all new students will take place at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 in the Roger Epp Conference Room 2-004. This session will provide essential information about our academic advisement system, academic support services and library services.

International Student Orientation (for international students only) will take place on Monday, January 13th at 6:00 – 9:00 PM in the Epp Conference Room 2-004.

Please be advised that residences will be open on Sunday, January 5th for those who wish to move in early. For information on moving into residence, please visit this page.

You will also find information on events and activities in the first two weeks of the semester in our Welcome to U! program.
