Pianist Jane Coop is one of Canada’s most prominent and distinguished artists. She is a multiple award-winning recording artist who has performed in over twenty countries in many of the most eminent concert halls in the world. She is Senior Professor and Head of the Piano Division at the University of British Columbia’s School of Music.

Coop’s reputation has inspired international competition organizers to invite her to judge their events over the past fifteen years. Her sixteen recordings, three of which have been nominated for Juno awards, have garnered glowing reviews and have been heard on classical radio programs in many countries. In December, 2012, Jane Coop was appointed to the Order of Canada.

Ms. Coop will perform works by Scarlatti, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff. Tickets (only at the door): $25 (adult); $20 (students/seniors); $5 (18 and under). R.A.R.E.
