We will hand you a grad cap and gown, a huge hammer, and invite you to chime on!

IMG_4657Between 1 and 4 pm on April 8 and 9, graduands of Augustana’s Class of 2014 are invited to commemorate the last day of undergraduate classes. Take part in a tradition on Augustana Campus: ring the bell to celebrate your achievement!

The “Bell” is part of Augustana: Beyond a Certain Phrase, the massive three-part Centennial sculpture in Quad.

We will hand you a grad cap and gown, a huge hammer, and invite you to chime on! Every time the bell sounds, its deep tone will drift out across campus to cheers and applause.

We will take photos for printing and presentation at Convocation.
