More than 50 students, staff, alumni and future students walked with Augustana’s entry in the Camrose BVJ Parade!

On the morning of July 31, more than a thousand people lined the streets of Camrose to watch the annual Big Valley Jamboree Parade. They burst into enthusiastic applause all the way along the route when the fifty-plus-strong group of Augustanians hove into view!

From the tiniest of Future Graduates in their strollers, through dozens of undergraduate research assistants and students hired by Augustana for the summer, to the staff, faculty, alumni of all ages, and even a Professor Emeritus of Augustana Faculty joined us in our trip around the busy downtown circuit. Our Dean rode with a posse of recumbent bike riders who – resplendent in their Viking horns – led several Augustana cheers all the way around the parade route.

Enjoy the photos taken from our adventure, and watch for your chance to join us next year! Thank you so much to all our volunteers.
