YAHOO!  It is time for the augustana human library!  We have a great line up of persons willing to share their lived stories of prejudice, discrimination and/or overcoming difficulties.  Their willingness to share their stories is so very appreciated and an incredible gift to this community!

The attached documents will be up on the augustana human library webpage today: http://www.library.ualberta.ca/augustana/infolit/humanlibrary/
1) Schedule and the abstracts for the human books who are participating this augustana human library.
2) List of the human books new to this augustana human library.   I have inserted the titles and abstract of that list here too:
1) Tiny but mighty: Inside life with a preemie
Parenting a premature baby
2) My child is disabled?
Confronting the myths and realities of “disability”
3) Rebound
Breaking free from the chains of additions
4) Carefree teen to diaper queen
Rebellious teen who had a baby at sixteen
5) From Haiti with love
International adoption
6) There’s no place like home
Making a house a home, post divorce — you might recognize this one from the news this summer … a divorced couple who built a duplex to live in so each adult had privacy but the children could move between the homes through an upstairs connecting door
Please forward to any interested adult and a reminder to bring photo ID.
