ANNUAL SCHUBERTIADE AT AUGUSTANA!

Camrose and area residents are invited to join us in what has become the Augustana vocal division’s annual Schubertiade.

What is a Schubertiade, you ask? In the 1820s, it was a gathering of musicians to play Franz Schubert’s music in a Viennese salon.  Today it is a musical event that celebrates Schubert’s music.

Step back in time and enjoy the Augustana vocal division’s presentation of Franz Schubert’s lieder on Thursday, November 6th at 7:00 pm in the Augustana Chapel.  Augustana vocal students – Monica Littleton, Evelyn Schaffer, Stephanie Myles, Casper Seely, Bailey Kuhn, Deanna Robillard, Johanna York, Carrie-Anne Hubbard, Hilda Lam, Miranda Holmes and Catherine Harder will each perform a Schubert lied with pianist Dr. Roger Admiral.

For ticket and other information, please contact the Augustana Fine Arts Office (ph. 780-679-1532). Tickets: $10 [adults]; $4 [students] – available only at the door. R.A.R.E.
