The Women’s Volleyball team took on the King’s University College Eagles. On Friday November 14, the team traveled to Edmonton and had their sights set on a win. Unfortunately, the team had a rough start to the night and struggled to get any momentum in the first set. They lost the first set 9-25. The team worked hard to gain some momentum in the remaining two sets, but were unable to finish. They lost the next two sets 17-25 and 17-25. Stefanie Zahara was player of the game.

On Saturday November 15, the Vikings took on the Eagles at home. The team came out with greater momentum then the previous night. The Vikings fought hard and continued to push for a win. Unfortunately, the Vikings couldn’t come away with a win. They lost 19-25, 16-25, and 21-25. Jill Alcorn was player of the game.

The Women’s teamed showed a great amount of perseverance this past weekend and are continuing to work towards a spot for playoffs. The team would also like to thank all the fans who came out on Saturday night to show their support.
