Carmina in Camrose

On Thursday, March 5 at 7:30 pm, The Augustana Choir, Sangkor, and Mannskor will join forces with the Camrose Camerata and the Edmonton Youth Choir to present the grand spectacle that is Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana–an epic choral work that is at once primitive, medieval and modern.

Featured soloists from across Alberta include Professor Kathleen Corcoran, Timothy Shantz, and Roderick Bryce accompanied by the Orion Percussion Ensemble and pianists, Dr. Roger Admiral and  Dr. Leanne Regehr, under the baton of award-winning conductor, Dr. John Wiebe.

Concert tickets and a limited number of dinner-concert tickets are available through the Lougheed Centre Box Office starting December 12, 2014.

Tickets are $38 for adults, $30 for seniors, $20 for students and the dinner/concert tickets are $75, featuring a meal at Stockmen’s Chophouse! R.A.R.E.
