Everyone is welcome to come and cheer the sliding! Get photos of this unique sport in Canada! Luge is one of the reasons why the AUG Experience is special as this is the only university credit luge course in North America to my knowledge.

FYI re the Class Race – students are making three timed runs in this race. The race is not about being the fastest down the track but about sliding consistently as the slider with the least amount of time between their slowest and fastest run earns the most points re driving consistency! A major test of their driving as they are running on an ice track with two very challenging corners (4 total) on dull sled steels The best performance in previous luge courses had a time spread of 0.1 second between their slowest and fastest runs in the set of three runs!!!

Camrose weather on Wed afternoon is looking to be single digits as well so enjoy a break at the luge track on Wednesday!
