Project Title: Rural Youth Engagement Initiative for Beaver County

This position is from May 4 – August 21, 2015
Under the supervision of the Director of the Alberta Centre for Sustainable Rural Communities (ACSRC), this position will assist the ACSRC and partner organizations to assist with community asset mapping and the development of community reports. This position will require bibliographic research skills, as part of this process includes the collection, inventory and cataloguing of studies, service delivery plans and strategies on youth engagement.

Duties:
• Data Collection
• Bibliographic research
• Creation of an inventory and cataloguing of studies, service delivery plans and strategies on youth engagement
• Work closely with project lead and partners
• Perform other project-related activities as required

Qualification:
• Current or graduating Augustana student
• Ability to work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Pervious research experience is an asset

Under the supervision of the Director of the Alberta Centre for Sustainable Rural Communities (ACSRC), this position will assist the ACSRC and the LERC (Learning Experiences Research Committee) in developing the assessment materials and supporting evidence for the LERC

• Review and synthesis of other first year experience methods
• Identification of best practices
• Work closely with project lead and partners
• Perform other project-related activities as required

Qualification:
• Current or graduating Augustana student
• Ability to work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Pervious research experience is an asset
