Are you considering Augustana? Remember July 1.

This year, we began admitting students based on first-term grades of 75%, always with the intention to revise that average after processing the first round of applications. Augustana is now admitting applications from high school students with a minimum 73% average on their first-term marks. Applicants who have completed all their prerequisites can apply with a minimum 70% average.

Note that the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies programs have changed their Math requirements to be EITHER Math 30-1 or Math 30-2 as well.

Augustana’s application deadline has been extended to July 1! Contact our Prospective Students Office to take advantage of this new announcement – and to be considered if we lower the admission average further.

Have you already applied?

It is very important to accept your offer on time! The deadline to accept your offer will be indicated in your Bear Tracks.Check your “Application Status” for your Offer Acceptance date.

**If you do not accept your offer and pay the tuition deposit by the deadline stated in Bear Tracks, your admission offer will be revoked. Once you accept your admission offer and pay your tuition deposit, you will be eligible to use the online schedule builder and begin enrolling in courses.

If you have missed the deadline to accept your offer, please contact an Admissions Advisor. They can help.

Have you accepted your offer?

The earlier you register for your courses, the more likely you are to get the classes – and sections – you want! The last person to register might end up in that 8 am English course. If you have already applied – and accepted your offer – you can use our course registration walkthrough to plan the best schedule for you.

Students who have applied, accepted their offer, and built their perfect schedule will be the first to be approved for their September classes.

      Hello Erika,

The University of Alberta’s Faculty of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in Edmonton that can be taken after high school. They also offer an After-Degree in Nursing that can be taken on either the Edmonton or Camrose campus. The After-Degree is for students who have already completed an undergraduate degree and the required prerequisite courses. More information on the programs that the Faculty of Nursing offers and the requirements can be found here:
