Camrose and area residents are invited to join us in what has become the Augustana Voice Students’ annual Schubertiade. You may be wondering what a Schubertiade is. In the 1820s, it was a gathering of musicians to play Franz Schubert’s music in a Viennese salon. In the present day, it is a musical event that celebrates Schubert’s music.

Step back in time and enjoy the Augustana vocal division’s presentation of Franz Schubert’s lieder on Thursday, November 12th at 7:00 pm in the Augustana Chapel. Augustana vocal students from the studio of head of voice, Prof. Kathleen Corcoran – Bailey Kuhn, Casper Seely, Deanna Robillard, Hilda Lam, Erik Skretting, Tim Hesje, Gracie Yelland, April Heinrich, Carrie-Ann Hubbard, Danielle Shepansky, and Miranda Baker will each perform a Schubert lied with pianist Dr. Roger Admiral.

For ticket and other information, please contact the Augustana Fine Arts Office (ph. 780-679-1532).
