Alberta, Oil, and the International System: A discussion on the past, present and future state of the global oil market

Tyson Flynn is a PhD candidate at Carleton University, studying global energy governance, specifically in the areas of oil and natural gas. His primary research focus is on petroleum policy and governance and the impact of petroleum developments on domestic and international institutions.

Tyson is currently a Special Advisor at the Alberta Energy Regulator. Prior to this role, Tyson worked at Natural Resources Canada and Alberta Energy on the diversification and design teams. Augustana alumnus Tyson Flynn also taught a course on global oil politics at Augustana Campus!

AUPOL 240 class will be hosting a lecture on Tuesday, November 17, 6:30pm Roger Epp Room. Everyone is welcome.
