The February 23 Augustana Science Fair is a collaborative initiative between the Battle River School Division, Elk Island School Division, and Augustana Campus. The Fair will welcome 215 grade 7 students, parents, teachers and administrators. The Fair’s exhibits will be displayed throughout the Lobby and Mayer Room of the Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre.

In partnership with Charlie Killam School and Our Lady of Mount Pleasant School the Learning, Advising & Beyond Office has worked to connect Augustana Community Service-Learning students with Grade 7 Science classes throughout the local community. Augustana students have been in classrooms since the second week in September and have been working in partnership with teachers to support and mentor grade 7 students in creating innovative science projects to present at the upcoming science fair.

In addition to providing quality hands-on experiential learning experiences for both grade 7 students and Augustana students the fair will also provide an opportunity for grade 7 students and their parents to enjoy the experience of being an active participant of the campus community for a day.
