A note on our Edmonton Philsophers’ Cafés: while they are not listed in our current calendar of events, Martin Tweedale and Don Carmichael are in the process of making a schedule and we will post as soon as it is available. The cafés will most likely begin Saturday, Feb. 6, and will address two themes: (1) advances in automation, artificial intelligence, and robotics and (2) Western Enlightenment: what it was and how it is faring in the modern world.
