In collaboration with the University of Alberta Alumni Association and the Career Centre, The Learning, Advising & Beyond Office at Augustana Campus will be hosting a Community Career Mixer on Thursday, January 19th from 6-8 pm. This event was developed to give senior students an opportunity to network with professionals from diverse industries and service areas. Staff from the Career Centre will start off the evening with a coaching session for students which will provide valuable tips for a successful networking experience followed by a facilitated networking activity.

This community mixer will feature exemplary alumni who will share their stories, describing how they arrived at their current career as well as provide valuable insights into the job market of their respective areas including Law, Agriculture and Environment, Energy, Health Services, Finance, Education, Government, Not for Profit, and more. This event will benefit students who want to explore possible career fields, and who want an opportunity to practice networking.
