Join us on Tuesday, October 24 at 6 pm in the Cargill Theatre of the Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre for a free screening and panel discussion of the movie Luther.

To commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, we will be hosting a special screening of Luther, the stirring 2003 biographical film/epic about the life of Martin Luther (1483-1546). The film explores different areas of Luther’s life, from his becoming a monk in 1505 to his later challenging the practices of the Roman Catholic Church. The film will begin at 6 pm, with a short refreshment break at 8 pm. At 8:30 pm, we will have a panel discussion, including U of A faculty and members of the local clergy, who will share their analyses on the film’s most significant moments. As always, attendees will be encouraged to join in on the discussion. Attendees are welcome to join us for the film, the panel, or both!
