Happy Wednesday! Both First-Year Seminars and three-week block courses have gotten underway – we hope you’ve been learning and enjoying your classes so far. But aside from curriculum, Augustana and the Camrose community have a lot to offer!

If you’re a student, take advantage of the Augustana Students’ Association’s (ASA) start-of-the-year events, including Mission Impossible and a trip to West Edmonton Mall. If you want to schedule your own trip to Edmonton, check out the City of Camrose’s new bus service which offers three round-trip shuttles daily.

Are you interested in learning more about Indigenous history and reconciliation? Students, staff, faculty and community members are welcome to sign up for the Workshops in Building a Capacity for Reconciliation by September 12.

And for my own shameless plug – external relations is looking for student photographers! If you’re an Augustana student interested in photographing campus events over the year, send a resume and examples of work to me (tlalani@ualberta.ca). If you’re looking for student employment but photography isn’t your forte, you can apply to be a Parking Enforcement Officer.

Have a great week everyone!
