Good morning, everyone, and happy October! What’s going on this week?

There are still a few spots left to attend a Lunch & Learn with human library keynote speaker Tarek Nemr, on his experience as a Syrian refugee. Register with Deb at augalum@ualberta.ca or by calling 780.679.1626.

Tomorrow is Safety Fest at Augustana, so come by the forum between 10 am and 1 pm for displays, information, cookies, and more!

Are you a student looking for a health-care career? Stop by the Consider Chiropractic info session tomorrow afternoon in the Learning Commons for more information.

Tomorrow evening, attend professor Roxanne Harde’s Fulbright Lecture presentation, titled “God is a Wild Old Dog”: Patty Griffin and Emmylou Harris, Stumbling into Grace at the Performing Arts Centre. Or, if you’re in Edmonton, stop by the Fine Arts Building Gallery on North Campus for the opening reception of Biomythography, an exhibit featuring Augustana visual arts professors Keith Harder and Julian Forrest that will run through the rest of the month.

Enjoy!
