Good morning, everyone. It’s the middle of November already—time flies when there’s so much to do! This week is no exception.
- Tonight, attend a free public performance by the Edmonton Métis Cultural Dancers in the Performing Arts Centre to celebrate Métis Week! Follow that up with tomorrow’s Lunch & Learn featuring guest lecturer Kisha Supernant (Professor of Anthropology from the North Campus) on her work exploring “Métis as Mixed” in the archaeological record; register by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 780-679-1626. Finally, watch out for bannock and Métis crafts in the forum on Friday.
- On Friday, Bike for Diabetes as part of the Science Club’s indoor spin bike challenge. Raise funds for a good cause and get a chance to win Booster Juice for your team!
- Also on Friday, attend Augustana’s second research colloquium, featuring presentations by Andrea Korda, Jason Taylor and Varghese Manaloor.
- Next Wednesday is the Fair Trade and Local Made Sale in the forum starting at 9:30 am.
Are you a student interested in acting? Augustana is holding auditions for the 2018 Winter Production next Thursday (November 29) between 4 and 7 pm. Sign up on the sheet posted on the theatre building door, or contact professor Kevin Sutley for details.
Have a great week!
